Eesmärk:
The aim of the workshop is not to provide a universal or “best” solution for integrating key competences, but to help each higher education institution to first define its needs and find the most suitable approach for that particular higher education institution or curriculum. At the same time, attention will be paid to ensuring that the necessary basic components are systematically in place. It will also address the values ??and principles that are important in designing a coherent and evidence-based key competence development strategy.
The workshop begins with an overview of why it is important to consider the development of key competences as a priority for higher education. It then analyses the stage at which participants and their organisations are in implementing a key competences strategy or framework. It looks at different ways of integration and the challenges and opportunities associated with them at different stages of development.
In addition, participants are supported in finding solutions that allow for the demonstration of the development of learners' general competences in a manner that is consistent with the goals and values ??of the higher education institution.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to formulate next steps to implement in their organization to promote the systemic integration of generic competencies.
