Eesmärk:
The aim of the training is to help higher education teachers use generative AI pedagogically, ethically, and effectively in course design, assessment, feedback, and student support, including the development of course-specific AI assistants.

Õpiväljundid:
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
• Critically evaluate the opportunities and limitations of generative AI in higher education.
• Reflect on the changing role of the lecturer in AI-supported learning environments.
• Redesign teaching, assessment, feedback, and learning activities using AI-supported pedagogical approaches.
• Apply principles of ethical, transparent, and human-centered AI use in education.
• Design AI-aligned learning outcomes, assignments, and assessment strategies.
• Develop a structured course knowledge base suitable for AI-supported teaching.
• Create and configure a course-specific AI assistant to support students throughout the learning process.
• Integrate AI assistants into teaching while maintaining academic integrity and pedagogical quality.

Koolituse ülesehitus:
9:55–10:00 Arrival and morning coffee
10:00–12:15 Training session with a flexible coffee break

• The changing role of lecturers in AI-supported learning.
• AI-supported course design, assessment, feedback, and learning activities.
• Ethical, transparent, and human-centered use of AI in teaching.
• Designing AI-aligned learning outcomes and assignments.
• Building course knowledge bases for AI-supported teaching.
• Creating and integrating course-specific AI assistants.

Õppemeetodid:
• Interactive lectures and discussions.
• Case studies from Estonian and European higher education.
• Reflection activities on teaching and assessment practices.
• Group discussions and peer exchange.
• Hands-on workshops.
• Guided development of course-specific AI assistants (using BoodleBox as an example).
• Demonstrations of AI tools and educational platforms.

Koolitaja tutvustus:
Dr. Slavko Rakić is a Research Professor at Tallinn University of Technology, specializing in the application of artificial intelligence in education and intelligent assessment methods. He also serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Novi Sad. His research focuses on AI-based educational solutions, digital assessment systems, service engineering, and digital servitization.
