Eesmärk:
To provide learners with the core concepts, frameworks, and ethical foundations of social innovation and social economy
To provide tools for measuring social impact and planning for systems change

Õpiväljundid:
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

Understand key concepts of social innovation and social economy. Apply systems thinking to map social challenges.
Reflect on ethical consideration of a social innovation case.
Design a basic theory of change for a project. Apply an impact measurement tool.
Outline a strategy for systemic change.

Koolituse ülesehitus:
- Definitions of social innovation and social economy.
- EU and global policy frameworks.
- Systems thinking and wicked problems.
- Ethics and values in social innovation
- Theory of change.
- Impact measurement frameworks.
- Strategies for scaling and systemic change.

Koolitaja tutvustus:
Katri-Liis Lepik: She leads the global Master’s programme in Social Entrepreneurship and mentors in Entrepreneurship Incubation Programs. She has been teaching social innovation courses in various international projects and micro-degree programs. She is an editor of “Social Innovation in Higher Education. Landscape, Practices and Opportunities,” and has authored numerous reports on social enterprises and social economy. She chaired the Cost Action on "Multi-Disciplinary Innovation for Social Change" involving 38 countries. She manages EU-funded projects on social innovation and entrepreneurship.

Audrone Urmanaviciene: is a Lecturer in Social Entrepreneurship at Tallinn University. She holds a PhD in Management Science. Her research interests include social enterprise, social impact, and social impact assessment. She is a member of EMES – the International Research Network for Social Enterprises. She is also a member of the Editorial Boards of the European Journal of Social Impact and Circular Economy and the Social Entrepreneurship Review (SER).

- Introduction to Social Innovation on a European and Local Level, policies, local context core concept, foundations of social innovation and social economy
- Corporate Social Responsibility vs. Social Entrepreneurship
- Practical task: A mapping exercise - “Where can SI fit into my course?”
11:30–11:45 – Break
11:45–13:15 Public Leadership, Innovation & Active Citizenship
- Public Value
- how current practices in public, private, and voluntary organizations can be further developed through innovation, entrepreneurship & active citizenship
- Ideation about a challenge
- Stakeholder engagement (a stakeholder map and a problem and actor landscape map) and their ethical considerations
- Practical task: drafting a challenge brief for your course with stakeholder analysis (with peer feedback).

14:00–15:30 – Impact Measurement
- Overview of impact measurement tools and frameworks (Theory of Change template), assessment indicators
- Supporting and Measuring Social Innovation

- Practical task: creating a theory of change for a challenge
- Individual next steps and its implementation plan
