Aim:
Explain the technical aspects of budget formation and the completion of the Horizon budgeting form.
By the end of the training the learner is able to:
The workshop aims to clarify the technical aspects of project budget development and the completion of the Horizon budgeting template. By the end of the session, attendees will be able to create activity-based budgets, accurately fill in the budget template, and locate necessary information for budget lines
Structure of the training:
The format of the workshop involves practical tasks for strengthening skills on the following topics:
- Developing an implementation budget
- Budget template from the funding and tenders portal
- Deconstructing the instructions on the budgeting template
- Adding beneficiaries (partners) and work packages
- Different cost categories:personnel (person-months); purchase costs; funding rules
- Using the EC dashboard
- Principles of depreciation calculation,
- Using the comment sheet
Note for attendees: Come along with a project for which you would like to create a budget. We will work on a maximum of 2 partners and 2 work packages in order that we can fit the activities in time.
